No new science since 2004, so what has changed?
From
what I can tell Gerry Geen has been involved in, the implementation of tradable
quotas in Australia, re-zoning the 4 pelagic zones(A,BC&D) into the two
large zones we have got, requesting the increase in the quota, overseeing the
increase of the quota. And now his company has joined into some grey
partnership with Parlevliet & Van der Plas to bring in the Abel
Tasman (Margiris) the first
freezer trawler into Australia, and this is only possible due to all those
changes he helped facilitate.
