Draft South-east Commonwealth Marine Reserves Network management plan
The Australian Government has developed a draft management plan for the South-east Commonwealth Marine Reserves Network. The South-east network was established in 2007 and is currently managed under interim management arrangements. The draft management plan was developed after considering the information received as part of the public consultation process on the intention to develop a management plan and the effectiveness of interim management arrangements.
Comment is now
invited on the South-east marine reserves draft management plan. The
statutory consultation period has commenced and will be open for 45
days, closing on Monday 27 August 2012.
