Commonwealth marine reserves network 60-day consultation period has commenced

The Director of National Parks has published in the Commonwealth of Australia Government Gazette an invitation to comment on the proposal to declare the Commonwealth marine reserves network covering the South-west, North-west, North, Coral Sea and Temperate East Marine Regions as released by the Minister for Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities, the Hon. Tony Burke MP on 14 June 2012.
The statutory 60-day consultation period has commenced and closes on
Monday 10 September 2012.
