MATES DAY ON THE BAY

Futurefish Foundation is proud to host “MATES DAY ON THE BAY”

Sunday 21st October 2012


Dear Boat Owner,

Futurefish Foundation will once again be hosting this special day that provides people with disabilities an opportunity to enjoy a mornings fishing on Port Phillip Bay. The day will start with our guests arriving for registration at 8:00am at Launching Way, Patterson River. Then it’s onto the boats for a mornings fishing out on Port Phillip Bay. When everyone returns, they will be treated to a great BBQ lunch and have the opportunity to sit down and have a chat about the morning’s great catch. You are more than welcome to have your family attend the BBQ.

We need you and your boat, to help make this special day a success.

We need boats greater than 5.5m in length and ask that each boat has a driver and deckhand on board. Would you please register your participation with Lynette Hogan or David Kramer and come along and enjoy taking a special mate on a great fishing trip. You will need to launch from 7:00am and be ready waiting for your crew to board at 8:00am. We should have everybody out fishing by 9:00am and then ask you to return at 12:00 midday and enjoy a BBQ lunch and celebrate a great mornings fishing. Would you please provide the fishing gear and bait for the day so your guests can enjoy a rewarding morning on the bay. We will supply the good weather and a great feed when you get back.

Please let us know your availability as soon as possible so we can make arrangements for our guests.

Further details will be mailed to you two weeks prior to the event.

A briefing night will be held at Keysborough Angling Club (enter via car park next to 185 Gladesville Boulevard, Patterson Lakes) on Tuesday 16th October at 7:00p.m. If you have participated in Mates Day before, there is no need to attend, however you are more than welcome to come along.
